Lochee’s 80 page treatise is crammed with information for the correct manner of erecting a military camp, from the construction of tents and officer marquis to the layout of streets and the disposition of cavalry. It served as the basis for the British forces throughout the war and was also utilized by American troops. It contains 9 folding plans and is bound in marbled wraps. The work was printed in London in 1778.
