Ordonnance due Roi
French Infantry exercises as presented in engraved plates from the King’s Ordonnance of 1766.
We recently were able to acquire this early French Infantry work and have spent considerable time making it presentable for publication. The work contains 36 pages of plates showing the various positions of the soldier under arms according to the French regulations of 1766 as well as various positions of loading the fusil, triple rank firing, etc. It contains 36 figures along with 2 large folding plates. The work is bound in a side stitched, blue laid paper cover with the title label pasted down. It is offered in a large format presentation.
