This 192 page work is complete with 16 plates and is considered to be one of the best works on organizational regimental practices. Its chapters are well organized and cover all aspects of regimental organization and routine. The work first appeared in 1768 and went through numerous editions and was written by Cuthbertson to fill the gap that had been created by Bland’s obsolescence. The work is bound in an 18th century style quarter leather spine with blind tooled raised bands,  hand marbled paper boards and an 18th century style paper label. It provides the perfect period look for the living history enthusiast.
